Movex Problems - Part 5

Friday morning I arrived at the apartment complex and began the process of unloading the trailer. I spent a couple of hours doing that, and then drove the van and trailer to find a storage unit nearby to put stuff we won't need until we get into the house in a few months. (I had found a place online a week or two ago). On the way there, I called David, the truck driver, to see where he was. He was still near El Paso, and said he probably wouldn't be in Tucson until late Saturday afternoon! I knew the storage unit closed at 8:00 pm, so I needed him in town early enough to unload some at the apartment, and the rest at the storage unit. I was really angry about this, so I decided to call Movex and gripe them out.

I wound up speaking with Mike at Movex and I relayed my displeasure with the situation, so he said he would see what he could do. He apparently called David the driver and made the urgency of the situation clear. Mike called me back a few minutes later and assured me the truck would be there Saturday afternoon. Great.

Of course, there was even more bad news to come...
